Thousands of miles away from home, soldiers tend to spend their evenings chronicling the comforts they miss the most. And, we’re proud to say, Whataburger’s Fancy Ketchup is pretty high on the list.
So when a Marine’s mom heard her son’s squadron was out of ketchup, she reached out to Whataburger Public Relations to see if there was anything they could do to help.
There was. And they did. Whataburger donated 800 tubs and 24 bottles of Fancy and Spicy Ketchup to the team, which is stationed in Afghanistan. The tubs were distributed at the chow hall so everyone had a chance to get some, while the larger bottles were handed out to the different units with small refrigerators.
Here, Marines (with their Whataburger ketchup, of course) pose next to a AH-1W super cobra.
